Living in Stafford puts you in the heart of everything Northern Virginia has to offer, but it still feels very quiet and peaceful. Interstate 95 is easily accessible from town, so you can get wherever you need to go very quickly.
It is particularly popular for military members who are stationed at Quantico, as it is just a 20-minute drive away. For those who work in Washington D.C., Stafford is approximately one hour away by car. Other popular Virginia towns like Richmond, Charlottesville, and Fredricksburg are all within an hour’s drive as well.
Dining and Entertainment
There’s no shortage of things to do in Stafford and the surrounding area. You’ll find plenty of excellent dining options in Stafford as well as in nearby Fredricksburg, which is known for its food scene.
