The Best Neighborhoods in Triangle VA

If you’re looking for a new home in the area, when it comes to Northern Virginia, it can be difficult to determine where to live. Triangle is a small town located between Dumfries and Stafford, and it’s just about as close as you can be if you’re stationed at Quantico. At V Star Real Estate, our goal is to get you into the home of your dreams - one that fits your taste, budget, and needs. Here is some information about the best neighborhoods in Triangle, VA that will help you if you’re starting to do some research on the area.

Moncure Woods

One of our favorite neighborhoods is Moncure Woods. It is a quiet neighborhood close to the area elementary school. Most of the homes in Moncure Woods were built in 2005. Many are brick-front homes with open floor plans, vaulted ceilings, gourmet kitchens, huge primary suites, and other luxury characteristics. These are rather large homes with at least four bedrooms and on average, about 4600 square feet of living space. And while they aren’t the least expensive homes you can find in Triangle, due to their size and features, the homes are a good value. Moncure Woods doesn’t offer amenities such as a pool or community center, so the HOA fees are only about $50 per month.

Windsor Hill

If you prefer a newer home, the homes of Windsor Hill are the ones for you. Most of the neighborhood’s homes were built in the past few years. Windsor Hill is right down the street from the Medal of Honor Golf Course, which is an area with plenty of natural beauty. Many of the homes also back up to a treeline, which gives residents much more privacy. Like the homes in Moncure Woods, these are large homes with on average, 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.

Graham Park Shores

Graham Park Shores is another of the best neighborhoods in Triangle, VA. It’s a more secluded and established community located near Quantico Creek. Homes in this area were built in the 1970’s and so have a lot of character. When looking at homes for sale, you can find brick two-story and ranch-style homes with between 3 and 5 bedrooms. Most of the homes sit on at least a half an acre of land with mature trees, so you’ll have just the right amount of privacy. There’s also no HOA, so residents of Graham Park Shores don’t have to worry about paying any dues.

Stonewall Manor

Stonewall Manor is an upscale neighborhood of 294 homes and yet another that contains sizable homes. With finished basements, the homes are as large as 7500 square feet. Brick-front homes are common in Triangle, and this neighborhood is no exception. But unlike some of the other neighborhoods in Triangle, Stonewall Manor offers residents quite a few amenities. With a soccer field, a swim pond, tennis courts, a clubhouse and pool, and several walking trails, you’ll always have something to do.

Hopefully now you have a better understanding of what’s available in the area.
